When I was in middle and into high school, I wore dark blue, cargo boy shorts that went to my knees.

I shopped in the boys section because I didn’t want to wear the low waist shorts that rode up my thighs that were the only kind of shorts you could get in the girls section.

When I was around 13, I didn’t like my body and how it was changing as so many kid…
